DevOps Engineer AI (f/m/x)

Our client is a leading digital organizational unit responsible for creating the online shop in the furniture retail sector. To strengthen the existing team, we are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer AI (f/m/x) for the locations Vienna, Linz, Wels, Graz (AT), or Würzburg (DE).

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Building and developing the service-oriented AI platform and its associated CI/CD process
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure
    • For data integration, storage, processing, and analysis based on Kubernetes and Kubeflow
  • Participating in the selection decision of the toolchain
    • Further development and automation through scripting
  • Setting up and maintaining containerized apps
    • (Docker) and deployed AI tools, as well as implementing security concepts for our AI platform
  • Collaborating on AI projects

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Completed degree (university/college) or equivalent professional experience
    • With a focus on Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or similar
  • Experience in integrating different systems and data sources
    • Knowledge of basic principles of distributed systems
    • Ideally with scalable cloud, small data, and big data architectures, data pipelines, and toolchains
  • Knowledge in handling unstructured and structured data
    • Relational (e.g., MS SQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB), as well as data lakes
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture and development
    • E.g., Python, Shell Scripts, etc. as well as experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset, ability to visualize data and concepts
  • High motivation and interest in AI topics
    • Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data
  • Proficiency in both German and English
