We are currently looking for a Software Developer (f/m/x) Natural/Adabas for our client, one of the largest financial service providers in Austria. Embark on a journey of exciting tasks, and harness your skills and experience to excel in the realm of software development for financial services.

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Software Development:
  • Using specific SW development tools
  • Following the SW Development standards/rules from within the company
• Project Management:
  • Responsibility for timely delivery in areas of Liabilities, Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and Collections
  • Aligning with raised requirements and the internal roadmap
• Participation & Analysis:
  • Engaging in requirements analysis
  • Participating in technical/IT architecture analysis and estimations
• Operational Stability:
  • Ensuring the operational stability of solutions
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting in existing programs
• Documentation:
  • Using tools like Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams
  • Transparent description of stories/tasks and releases using JIRA
• Contributing in an Agile environment

Your experience so far:

• Educational Background:
  • Completed degree in computer science, software development, or business informatics
• Professional Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years as a SW Developer in the IT/Financial Services field
  • Experience in an Agile environment is a plus
• Technical Skills:
  • Programming in Natural/Adabas under CICS
  • Experience with NaturalONE programming environment is a plus
  • Comfortable with IBM mainframe (z/OS) and knowledge of JCL
  • Program analysis and familiarity with databases/modeling
  • Java knowledge for decentralized components
  • Experience with SWIFT Messages standards in areas of Liabilities, Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and Collections is a plus
  • Agile delivery methods knowledge and using tools like Jira and Confluence
• Languages:
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
