Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

Are you a Senior DevOps Engineer with a passion and ready to apply your knowledge to a revolutionary consumer good at an innovative company? Then our client is the right place for you! We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to expand their team in Vienna.

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• You will have the unique opportunity to build their infrastructure on a greenfield using AWS as infrastructure as code (currently our client uses terraform) for the developers as well as production systems.
• You are passionate about enabling their developers to ship the products as fast as possible in the best possible quality (aka CI/CD pipelines).
• You enjoy building as many services as self-service as possible for the developers so that they can focus on the product and you can focus on keeping everything stable (e.g. leveraging the AWS service catalogue).
• You attach great importance to working closely with the teams to ensure uninterrupted operations for our client’s customers.
• You are building up logging and alerting systems to enable you to react quickly if an incident happens.
• Supporting various teams (developing with C, Java, JavaScript, Docker, etc.) in deploying their applications to production is in your best hands.

Your experience so far:

• You have at least 5 years of experience in running stable production systems for end consumer-facing systems.
• You know how to build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar (our client is using GitLab).
• Certification for AWS (e.g. Solution Architect or SysOps Administrator) is no buzzword for you.
• You are familiar with building infrastructure as code.
• Setting up and running alerting and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, ELK, or similar belong to your passions.
• You also bring experience with Kubernetes (our client is using EKS).
• Defining backup and disasters strategies & implementing them are your hobbyhorse
