Senior Backend Developer (f/m/x)

We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer (f/m/x) for one of our international, innovative and steadily growing clients, a leading company in the gaming industry based in Vienna.

These exciting tasks are awaiting you:

• Working with a complex server setup using several different technologies
• Turning concepts into reality using:
  • Ruby/Rails, Erlang/Elixir
  • Postgres, RabbitMQ, Redis, DynamoDB
• Working with many different platforms and services (e.g.: AWS, Heroku, Google Analytics, Sendgrid, ..)
• Working closely with your teammates and being an active part of a small but effective team
• Dealing with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project
• Being involved in the whole development life cycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation)

Your experience so far:

• Experienced with Ruby/Rails and/or Erlang/Elixir
• Several years of experience in software design and working with databases
• Conscientious working style with the ability to grasp issues quickly
• Love to work in a small agile team
• Be able to give and take constructive feedback from your colleagues
• Independent, precise and well-structured working style
• You like pair programming to teach others and learn from them
• Excellent approach of both spoken and written English – German knowledge is an advantage
