Senior Appian Developer / Architect (f/m/x)

Our client is an international financial services provider, serving companies and private clients in a wide range of industries in many European countries. In support of the existing team, our customer is currently looking for a enthusiastic Senior Appian Developer /Architect (f/m/x).

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Being the technical lead of an international, distributed Scrum-team with internal and external Appian developers
• Define Appian solution architecture
• Develop Appian solutions
• Use Appian implementation best practices
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues
• Anticipate user needs and provide inputs for solutions
• Understand stakeholder views and resolve the issues
• Support in UX topics to create an outstanding user experience
• Work closely together with business analysts, API developers and testers

Your experience so far:

• Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
• 7+ years professional experience in BPMS, DMS and/or Workflow development
• 3+ years of experience in Appian implementation, knowing all aspects of Appian product and implementation methodology
• Experience in Customer Enablement and Excellence by ensuring end to end Project delivery by striking a right balance between the – time, scope, cost and quality
• Should have Appian Component Architecture understanding and should be able to troubleshoot platform / tool level issues
• Experience with Appian plugin development (Java, JavaScript …)
• Experience with integration of REST-based APIs and Microservice Architecture
• Experience with integration of data streaming (Kafka, Pulsar …)
• Knowledge of contemporary collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)
• Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
