Our client is an international financial services provider, serving companies and private clients in a wide range of industries in many European countries. To support the existing team, our customer is currently looking for a Oracle DBA (f/m/x).


These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

  • Oracle DB Admin in Moody’s RiskAuthority Platform
  • Contributes to Credit Risk Projects with special focus on all database related topics (Oracle/SQL/PL SQL/SQL plus scripts)
  • Involvement in all aspects of software development lifecycle, maintenance, customization and support of mission critical system (“Moody’s RiskAuthority Platform”)
  • Linux Server Monitoring
  • LDAP user management
  • Continuously improvement of already well-established agile methodology/environment
  • Participates in daily Stand-up’s, Sprint-Planning’s, Sprint Review/Demo Sessions, Retrospective’s, Knowledge Sharing Sessions
  • Perform high quality testing and documentation of development activities
  • Working in an environment with using tools like Jira, Confluence, GIT/SVN, CHEF, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, etc…
  • First level support for technical issues and incident handling
  • Once a month Standby


Your experience so far:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT department, preferable in the financial services industry
  • Very good understanding of relational database technologies (esp. Oracle)
  • Process Automation (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Outstanding Experience with Linux Server (additional Windows Server beneficiary)
  • Hands-on database development skills including SQL programming (stored procedures, functions esp. in PL/SQL)
  • Solid understanding of ETL technologies
  • Experience in any of these areas would be a plus: RWA calculation, Basel II/III, financial concepts, structured products and derivatives
  • Team player, service orientation, high level of commitment and motivation
  • Analytical, result-oriented and structured way of working even in hectic times
  • Used to work in agile/adaptive Setup’s
  • Fluent knowledge of English; German is appreciated, but not mandatory
