Our client, one of the biggest financial service providers in Austria, presents a nurturing and stable corporate environment. They are currently looking for a dedicated IFRS Advisor in Vienna.
These exciting tasks are waiting for you:
- You act as contact person and expert for accounting methods in the Group
- You will lead discussions with group auditors, regulatory authorities, the Accounting Review Board and other IFRS experts
- You conduct research in literature and publications on IFRS topics and bring relevant findings into implementation
- You communicate IFRS-based requirements to group members for training and explanation purposes
- You represent the comapny as a participant in local and international IFRS advisory bodies, if required
Your experience so far:
- University degree in economics with a focus on accounting and taxation and/or finance and accounting (or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of accounting from financial services, ideally with a focus on banking, experience from auditing an advantage
- The ability to write presentations & statements in a precise and well-founded manner
- Understanding of different perspectives and interests of stakeholders inside and outside the company
- Excellent command of English; German and other languages are an advantage
