We are currently looking for an experienced Director of IT (f/m/x) to help lead our client, a sporting goods manufacturer, through digital transformation and optimize their IT systems.

Location: Vienna (1-2 days/ week, but be open for more)

These exiting tasks are waiting for you:

• Lead and develop all our client’s IT
• Functional areas include infrastructure, business systems and solutions, support for e-commerce, software development, and partner management
• Set strategic direction for optimizing IT-related processes and centralize efforts for driving digital transformation initiatives
• Develop and advance IT strategy and architecture of IT applications, as well as build, expand, and optimize IT infrastructure (network, cloud, equipment, etc.)
• Tech management: integrated planning, design, optimization, operation, and control of information technology along business processes
• Manage and advance the smooth operation of business applications (ERP, FiBu, e-commerce shop system, SCM, customer service, CRM, LVS/EWM, POS, etc.)
• Be responsible for Development & Operations (B2B, B2C, e-commerce)
• Establish industrial SOPs to increase operational efficiency and scalability, and improve customer experience
• Ensure IT risk and security management for IT applications and compliance with data protection policies

Your experience so far:

• Experience in building and forming an IT department in a highly volatile business environment
• Experience in leading a minimum of two e-commerce implementations and two ERP implementations in a leadership role
• Actively promote change management beyond the area of responsibility
• English language proficiency, German is a plus
• Nice to have: experience in the Consumer Products (FMCG), retail, production and E-Commerce industries
