Database Administrator (f/m/x)

Our client is an international company in the gaming industry in Vienna. We are currently looking for Database Administrator (f/m/x) to strengthen the existing team.

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Installation, configuration and upgrade of databases
• Analysis and communication of potential problems
• Analysis and improvement of database security in accordance with IT security policies
• Supporting performance and availability issues, testing or installing application upgrades
• Ensuring the availability of the database systems
• Monitoring backups and performing recovery when necessary
• Evaluating new tools and frameworks for possible use

Your experience so far:

• Completed IT education (technical college, HTL, FH)
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the DBA environment
• Administration knowledge with MS SQL Server 2019
• Sound know-how in the area of MS SQL Server (T-SQL, PowerShell Scripting)
• Cloud experience is an advantage (AWS, automation with TerraForm).
• For this, you have already worked in an agile team using Jira or Confluence.
• You have a high willingness to learn and flexibility in learning new topics
