Backend Software Engineer – Mobile Services (f/m/d)

Our client is a leading online retailer of pet supplies and is looking for a Backend Software Engineer – Mobile Services (f/m/d) to strengthen the team.

What you will do:

• In your role as Mobile Backend Engineer, you will define, extend and maintain the services that power our mobile apps.
• Your experience and opinions matter, so you will also play a vital role in planning and defining new features.
• Free thinking and collaboration are highly encouraged!

Your experience so far:

• 3-5 years practical experience in software development with Java, Spring, Python, REST API concepts, understanding of databases
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (container orchestration, CI, monitoring and alerting, AWS) and design patterns
• Drive for quality: Clean Code principles, TDD, knowing when to apply best practices
• Shared ownership mindset: as a self-organized, autonomous teams, we take end-to-end responsibility for what we deliver together
• Fluency in English and good communication skills
• Tech Stack for that position is Java, Python, AWS (for example API Gateway, Lambdas, RDS…)
