As Android Developer (w/m/d), you will be responsible for building our client’s mobile app from zero to an international market launch. You will work within a cross-functional team with experts from the product, design, and other developers. Our client has no legacy system therefore you can start from scratch and build everything as it should be – from cloud infrastructure to fully automated testing in their device farm. Did you ever want to give it a try to make it right? This is your chance.

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Setting our client’s app – from app architecture, software design to usage analytics using e.g. firebase
• Technical planning of features and helping the product owners with showing them what’s possible using the latest technology
• Implementing the features for their future customers
• Together with the UI/UX experts creating a high-end customer experience
• Ensure that the app will meet their high standards – from testing (they will have dedicated testers) to defining the quality gates for our CI/CD pipeline

Your experience so far:

• 5+ years of experience in Android app development with Java or/and Kotlin
• 5+ years of experience in providing customer-facing apps in a production environment
• experience in working in an agile environment
• having a good overview of the technical landscape in the mobile area (e.g. new features of the new Android versions, upcoming sensors available, Play Store, etc.)
