Our client, an ambitious early-stage startup based in the USA with a founding team in Vienna, is currently developing an AI-powered SaaS platform – from the ground up. Backed by renowned VCs from New York and Silicon Valley, this is an exciting opportunity for tech-savvy developers who enjoy taking ownership and contributing to a modern, scalable product.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop core product features using Solid.js and UnoCSS
• Collaborate closely with backend developers (Rust & PostgreSQL)
• Integrate AI functionalities (LLMs, agents) into the frontend
• Help shape architecture and technology decisions from day one
• Work independently with regular coordination within the team (Vienna & USA)
• Participate in weekly on-site meetings in Vienna (2–3 days per week)

You bring:

• Solid experience with React or Solid.js as well as modern frontend development
• Optional: Knowledge of Rust and PostgreSQL
• Optional: Experience with LLMs and AI agents
• Proven reliability as a freelancer or contract developer
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Initiative, proactiveness, and enthusiasm for working in an early development stage
• Residence in Vienna with willingness to attend regular team meetings

Bonus points that set you apart:

• Experience with SaaS or AI/ML products
• Open-source contributions in the Solid.js or Rust ecosystem
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping and lean product development
